For smokiness (and because bacon and eggs go well together) we’ve added chopped streaky bacon to the sausage mix.

HOW TO BOIL AN EGG

There are many tips for getting this right, but the most accurate is to bring a pan of water to the boil, carefully drop in the egg, then time it to the second. (See tip, right.)

A GOOD EGG

You should seek out the best quality eggs, preferably organic, to ensure a perfectly golden yolk.
