- Murder Over Easy
1
Monona Quinn thought moving away from the big city would be a refreshing change of pace. But when the owner of a popular local diner comes up murdered, she begins the hair-raising task of finding the culprit.
- Murder At Midnight
2
Discovered by his young altar server, Father O’s body lay on the floor of the sacristy—his throat slit. And so Monona Quinn, editor of the weekly Mitchell Doings, finds herself writing a profile of a dead man for the second time in three months. And just like last time, Mo become obsessed with uncovering his killer, regardless of her husband’s misgivings and her own safety. An extremely conservative Catholic radio show, a highway expansion, and millions of dollars all seem motive enough for murder. With the help of sassy Southern detective Lashandra Cooper, Mo sorts through the town full of suspects to find the truth.
- Twin Killing
3
Mo’s twin sister, Madison, is already under plenty of pressure taking care of her mother and keeping the family farm going, with her husband serving in Iraq. So when her son (also one of twins) is arrested for drug possession, Mo drops everything—including her 80-hour-a-week job as editor of the weekly Mitchell Doings—and drives down to the farm, outside Summersend, Iowa, to help. The simple possession charge turns to suspicion of murder when not one but two locals, who are running a meth lab out of an abandoned barn outside town, are killed.
- Obsessions
4
Monona Quinn and her husband Doug are taking a relaxing vacation in the northwoods of Wisconsin. Mo’s enrolled in a writing workshop, and Doug’s resolved to learn to fish. Naturally, it’s the perfect time to solve another murder. Pompous, self-important writer Fletcher Downs was supposed to be the writer-in-residence; he was supposed to teach a classroom full of hopefuls how to write a great mystery—but he hadn’t intended to teach by example. Now Fletcher’s dead, and Mo (and the other students at the writing retreat) are faced with a real-life mystery. Who killed their teacher, and will they strike again?
