Fyodor Dostoevsky

Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821–1881) was a Russian author and journalist. He spent four years in prison, endured forced military service and was nearly executed for the crime of reading works forbidden by the government. He battled a gambling addiction that once left him a beggar, and he suffered ill health, including epileptic seizures. Despite these challenges, Dostoevsky wrote fiction possessed of groundbreaking, even daring, social and psychological insight and power. This particular audio book has missing audios in all the chapters

All the chapters are cut off mid sentences. I have no idea why.

The book is great, but there's significant amounts of text missing in each chapter! I compared the first few chapters of the same version in Audible, and didn't look past chapter 3, which was 12 minutes shorter!! Get it from another platform. Better yet, check if your library has it.

While the narration and the narrator is nothing short of marvellous, the audio book is missing chunks, in almost every chapter. Chapters abruptly cut short and a new chapter starts.
