About this audiobook
At the top of the stairs there are four secrets hidden—blond, innocent, and fighting for their lives…
They were a perfect and beautiful family—until a heartbreaking tragedy shattered their happiness. Now, for the sake of an inheritance that will ensure their future, the children must be hidden away out of sight, as if they never existed. They are kept in the attic of their grandmother’s labyrinthine mansion, isolated and alone. As the visits from their seemingly unconcerned mother slowly dwindle, the four children grow ever closer and depend upon one another to survive both this cramped world and their cruel grandmother. A suspenseful and thrilling tale of family, greed, murder, and forbidden love, Flowers in the Attic is the unputdownable first novel of the epic Dollanganger family saga.
The Dollanganger series includes: Flowers in the Attic, Petals in the Wind, If There Be Thorns, Seeds of Yesterday, Garden of Shadows, Beneath the Attic, and Out of the Attic.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5This was one of the best, most infuriating books I’ve ever read. How someone could use such beautiful language & prose to talk about such horrendous things is incredible. The story was difficult to read, but it will stick with me for a long time. Some of the best books are the ones that make you feel something. A truly unforgettable read.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A very well written and sad story. The author has a mastery of language that lets us see, hear, and feel the characters' plight. The narrator did a fantastic job as well. It's no wonder this novel has stood the test of time.

Anyone who says 'that is not a horror novel'.....needs to re read it! This is HORROR in the worst way.....Human EVIL of a wicked wicked Mother. Now I have to reread the next one.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This story is just plain sad. Anyone and everyone not named christopher, cathy, carrie, and cory can all eff off for all i care.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I love the book but the narrator is annoying. I know from earth it to hrs that this is not the original narrator. The book seems to have been rewritten or retold. This is not the correct verbiage for this classic.
