In addition to working with AIA Track and Field, he is a volunteer coach with the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs.
In this conversation, Nick explains how an identity as an athlete can get in the way of experiencing joy in sport and how integrating faith and sport helped him see that he is more than a runner, providing a greater purpose. He also shares practices that you can use to connect your faith with your sport so that you can experience a secure identity independent of how you perform or what others think about you. This conversation on identity and purpose provides fundamental yet profound insight for anyone investing in their sport or anything they care about.
