Rachel Nelson ran for Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo and Liberty University. She has been part of the Altitude Project community since the first year of the camp in 2004, when she attended while running for Cal Poly.

In this conversation, Rachel shares how she saw her team as her mission field and how God led her to be a light to her teammates in a rather dark situation. She also shares how she learned to prioritize her relationship with God and train and compete for an Audience of One - running to please God instead of others.

Rachel is now a massage therapist and offers a neat perspective on how our physical, emotional, and spiritual parts are connected, including practical insight into how we can train our whole selves to truly thrive.
