Description
In 1978, two clinical psychologists coined the term, "Imposter Syndrome". This common phenomenon affects individuals across many industries and is a condition resulting in a belief that you are unworthy or undeserving of your achievements. People who struggle with it feel they aren't as competent, intelligent, or talented as others might think and that soon enough people will discover the truth about them. In this episode I dive into my own struggles with imposter syndrome and the coping techniques that I have used to overcome it. If this is something that you are struggling with or have struggled with in the past, I hope this episode makes you feel less alone in the struggle and offers you hope, encouragement, and practical advice to move into a healthier mindset.
