She earned a master’s degree in Counseling and Human Systems and a bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida State University. She counsels students, parents, faculty members, and administrators on issues of student adjustment, mental health, and motivational behavior. She has also served as the exceptional student education coordinator for her students.  Her experience in school counseling, child development, and education has led her to write dozens of articles for parenting and professional publications for over twenty years.
