Description
This story has to be heard to be believed. In this episode of the Single Mother Survival Guide Podcast, Julia talks with single mum Rebecca McKeown. After becoming a single parent as a teenager, Rebecca completely turned her life around - she became a motivational speaker for young parents, and then graduated as a nurse with the help of her anonymous guardian angel. A severe car accident when she was 32 weeks pregnant threw another array of obstacles her way - the car accident left her second child with medical issues, it made her temporarily paralysed, and she become a single parent again. Once again she found her feet even though more challenges came her way. Rebecca is a positive role model for single mothers and an example of the strength that we are all capable of. Rebecca is such a positive person and is now paying it forward to other single mothers. Rebecca shares her story with us and how she balances looking after herself as a single mum. She also tells us what she's learnt from her experiences, and shares her money saving secrets with us.
