Dr. Robert Yoho is our guest today, a whistleblower and author regarding the fraud that occurs in healthcare. He wrote the Amazon bestselling book, Butchered by Healthcare that has over 100 five-star reviews. He explains how our sadly damaged system fits together and how patients can get around the problems. January 17, 1961 President Eisenhower gave the most pointed warning to the United States. He spoke of the necessity of major industry for maintaining an adequate defense. His warning about the newly coined “military industrial complex” was that it would become such an endless presence that it would require continuous spending and continuous war to maintain it.  Much like the military industrial complex, there is a Medical Industrial Complex. Healthcare is the top cause of all our overdue debts and personal bankruptcy. Our medical spending per person is double that of other countries’, but fully half the treatments are ineffective or harmful.  The first step to deal with the situation, either as a doctor or a patient, is to learn the truth.
