He is the founder and president of Harrington Communications, a leading thought-leadership marketing agency for law firms. Jay is the host of The Thought Leadership Project podcast, and is the author of three books, The Productivity Pivot, One of a Kind Lawyer and The Essential Associate. Jay formerly practiced law at Skadden Arps and Foley & Lardner, and he also founded and ran a boutique corporate restructuring law firm. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.
