Description

Courtney Barnes is a attorney in the psychedelic & cannabis space. She thought she was "good" ... until she wasn't. Today, she is sharing her story of taking a step back from lawyering, in order to go inward. She shares about how her recent Ibogaine & Ayahuasca journeys have illuminated the depth of this work. As a result, she is better able to understand the nuances of policy and regulation around psychedelics. One of the important lessons she learned is the importance of incorporating preparation, integration & harm reduction within policy frameworks. Her story shows how important it is for people in the psychedelic space to have an understanding of psychedelic altered states , as we’re creating a totally new medical and therapeutic paradigm unlike ever before. This episode is a testament to how important it is for people working in the psychedelic space -- especially within regulatory roles -- to actually understand what its like to go deep with psychedelics.
