Description

We finally got around to recording a discussion on one of our most requested topics: Navigating those first few weeks postpartum! This phase can be so blissfully beautiful but can often bring with it a level of sadness, exhaustion, discomfort in our more... fragile... areas, and just a whole lot of hormonal dysfunction.

We are both well acquainted with the idea of childhood (and especially the newborn phase) passing all too quickly. Unfortunately, that well-intentioned commentary can add to the pressure in those first few days and weeks. We want to take some of that pressure off of new moms (whether for the first time, or the sixth) by giving you the permission you need to feel all of your feelings and navigate this phase as you see fit. That may mean quickly or slowly, with a full calendar or an empty one, in your bed or on your walking trail, with a bottle in tow or a full breast, and hopefully it can always be full of patience and grace toward yourself and your baby.

We want to cherish the sweet moments and be present during the hard ones while we grow alongside our children. As we have entered motherhood, we have found so much comfort and value in conversations with women in all different stages of motherhood and We are here to share those conversations so we can grow together and embrace all of the joy modern motherhood brings.
