Description

We live in troubled times, and some of the concepts that often come up are personal and collective responsibility. These, too, apply to writing. When writing, you must take personal responsibility for the claims you are making. Writing has great power and can be dangerous. That said, you cannot control your audience’s interpretation and cannot assume collective responsibility for what you’ve written. When you read, however, you are part of an audience, and you need to take collective responsibility for the interpretation of texts. History teaches us things can spin out of control based on texts’ interpretation. Join The Word Leader Facebook Community to learn more about writing, connect with like-minded fellows, and get support in your writing journey.
