Description

Titanic offers us great insights into writing with the scene where Cal gifs Rose a beautiful diamond necklace. Cal is trying to bribe Rose into loving him. However, we know that Rose’s heart will go to Jack, even though he is poor and cannot offer her anything Cal can. What Jack can offer, however, is a glimpse into a world Rose doesn’t know. He can draw lessons from his life in Paris. He can show her his art. He can teach her how to spit. These things are much more interesting to Rose than any material possessions Cal could give her. The same thing goes with writing. Your readers don’t want to hear about your accomplishments and what you can do for them; they want you to deliver the goods and make them live an experience. Join The Word Leader Facebook Community to learn more about writing, connect with like-minded fellows, and get support in your writing journey.
