Description

Length: 1 hour 2 minutesSynopsis: This evening (9/20/23), in our Wednesday night Tehilim shiur, we began working on a VERY difficult perek - one that was made more difficult by the fact that I wasn't able to prepare it ahead of time. I'm not gonna lie: unless you plan on participating in this shiur next time, or unless you REALLY love "breaking your teeth on Tehilim" as they say (now, as of last night), I'm going to suggest that you wait until our recap at the beginning of Part 2, when (God willing) I'll have had time to learn through this and get it much clearer. Maybe listen to the VERY beginning of this shiur, when I mention a mesorah about Rav Hirsch from Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik transmitted by word of mouth from R' Hershel Schachter. There are other tidbits in the shiur, but trust me - skip this one and wait for the sequel unless you're a diehard Tehilim-learner who wants to crawl through the mud with us. -----מקורות:תהלים פרק לב-----The Torah Content for the remaining Aseres Ymei Teshuvah has been sponsored by Alex. My name is Rabbi Matt Schneeweiss, and this is the hub for all of my shiurim (classes) on Tefilah (Prayer) and related topics, such as Tehilim (Psalms) and Berachos (Blessings)! The shiurim I upload here are given in a variety of formats with different lengths and intended for different audiences. The common theme which unites all of these shiurim is our focus on strengthening our relationship with Hashem through Avodah she'ba'Lev (Service of the Heart). If you have any questions feel free to email me at rabbischneeweiss at gmail. Thanks for listening!
