In 2019, after years of listening to online business podcasts, Shelley decided to use virtual assisting and online freelancing as a means for earning money and writing her own exit ticket out of the classroom. In 2020, Shelley founded TeacherVA.com, a business dedicated to bridging the gap for teachers between the online business world and the classroom.
