Of the Power Six conferences, the Big 12, SEC, and ACC return hardly any of their top 10 scorers, while the Big East, Big Ten, and Pac 12 return at least half of theirs. In fact, precisely zero of the Big 12’s top 10 scorers from last season are returning to play for the same team. LJ Cryer is the only top-10 scorer to return to the conference, BUT he’s transferred from Baylor to Houston.

Marquette released their non-conference schedule on Thursday. It’s a tough gauntlet for Shaka Smart’s team, not even including the 20-game Big East schedule. The Maui field is loaded, plus Marquette will go to Wisconsin and Illinois and welcome Coach Smart’s former team, the Texas Longhorns.

The NCAA has announced some rule changes for 2023-24 including a new way for refs to adjudicate block/charge decisions.
