For the second straight night, an AP Top 10 SEC team lost at home to an unranked opponent. On Tuesday, it was Tennessee, on Wednesday, it was Kentucky. The Wildcats were without DJ Wagner and Justin Edwards and ultimately lost at Rupp Arena for the second time this season. Alabama got blitzed out of the gate by UGA but utilized a 38-17 run in the final 10 minutes to come back and win. Purdue and Northwestern once again went to overtime, with the home team winning again (Purdue this time). Memphis lost at home to Rice on Wednesday and has now lost four straight including two Quad 3 and one Quad 4 games.
