Kansas hosted UConn on Friday night in an epic top-5 showdown with the Jayhawks winning 69-65. This wasn’t about either team playing up or down, just two of the best teams in college basketball playing high level basketball on a Friday night in Lawrence, Kansas – great stuff. In addition to UConn, six other AP-ranked teams lost this weekend, including the nation’s no. 1 team, the Purdue Boilermakers, in overtime at Northwestern. Duke lost for the second time this week (at Arkansas, at Georgia Tech) while Kentucky lost at home to UNC-Wilmington in the same week in which they blitzed Miami at home. The six-pack includes Yale losing a game in which they lost in regulation after being up by five with three seconds to go.
