Description

Welcome back, Uncommon Leaders!  Today, I'm thrilled to have Dr. John Jenkins as my guest. Dr. Jenkins is the Medical Director for School Based Care for Cone Health in Greensboro, NC.  I worked closely with John while he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer of Connected Care where he implemented Lean practices in the clinic setting.  He continues to be a lean practitioner today and is a lifelong learner! In this episode, we discuss the potential seismic impact of telemedicine in our school systems  for the students and their parents in an effort to keep kids where they need to be… in school!  We also discuss the need for innovative thinking in healthcare and the importance of continuous learning for personal growth and development.  It was a fascinating conversation.Leaders at all levels from all walks of life will learn from John’s wisdom and passion. John Jenkins, MD on LinkedIn: CLICK HERE Did you know that many of the things that I discussed on the Uncommon Leader Podcast are subjects that I coach other leaders and organizations on?
