It’s time for a little tough love in true Kristy Castillo style today, and we’re talking all things motivation! This is the thing you feel like you have to ‘wait for’ or you ‘don’t have’, so you can’t do something..sound familiar? I think we’ve all struggled with feeling motivated when it comes to a LOT of things over the last few years (I know I sure have), but it’s not something I really pay attention to anymore either. Whether motivation is something you struggle with often or not, I know you’ll benefit from what I’m sharing today.In today’s episode, I’m talking about:-Why motivation (especially ‘waiting for it’) is a complete waste of time when it comes to your fitness-What it looks like when you choose to blame motivation for not making certain choices on your fitness journey -Why you need to find workouts you don’t absolutely dread and actually enjoy doing, and make a commitment to doing themA quote I heard recently that really resonated with me was “People don’t change until staying the same is more painful than changing”. I mean..how powerful, right?! It all comes down to you making a choice; you have to decide if you want to stay in the current version of yourself, or if you’re willing to change and do the hard things, even if you’re ‘unmotivated’. Motivation is just a feeling, so it will come and go.
