Description
Our Budget Power Hour Workshop is on Presale Now!
In today's podcast, we are answering a question from a client about how to deal with expenses that come up as it relates to children.
We loved this mom's question & the realness of it:
What do you recommend to do when you have children, and you enter a phase where every day there is a new expense?
They grow out of shoes overnight and now require a purchase of $80 + shoes
Two days later your other son needs new cleats because the ones he has now have a hole in them and can't play soccer with his toes hanging out
Two weeks later the soccer team decides they are switching leagues and require a $300 deposit plus $150 for the uniform
And it just keeps going from there :)
We GET IT. Been there, done that, wasn't in the budget, sent kids to school with holes in their shoes, all of the above! We also know:
It's challenging to raise kids and budget at the same time, especially as the expense continues to climb
The expenses as it comes to kids can be unpredictable
We're telling you, again, about our concept of the kid's envelope and how it's going to save your life.
We're also explaining how to set up a sinking fund for your kids and how you can estimate the annual cost of your kids.
We also talked about how to set limits and say "no" when it's necessary.
