Introducing Joe Lipman: Co-Founder & CEO of NAME APP, an app founded by university students who are on a mission to make scrolling meaningful and shopping sustainable & stylish.
Having only recently launched their app, NAME APP was started because the founders felt that our favourite online habits were becoming increasingly meaningless.
The team at NAME APP sees the world slightly differently. They believe that as consumers, our everyday lives and habits can be improved for the better.
Through their app, the team of young students are working to make NAME APP mainstream so their users feel good while scrolling. This is done by featuring short, entertaining videos with experts discussing major topics in society and environmental sustainability.
In this series of our podcast, we wanted to showcase and highlight a range of sustainability champions. It is inspiring to see young entrepreneurs, who are finishing their studies at university in the UK, take the skills they are learning in class and apply them towards an online platform that has meaningful and purpose-driven content.
