Description
In this episode, I interview David Wolfe who has an incredible story of sugar/ food addiction recovery. As a child, he witnessed his mother - also a food addict - morph into a different person based on what she was eating. Even at a young age, he knew processed food affected how his mother mothered him. David understands food addiction from the perspective of a child of a food addict and a food addict in recovery himself.David's recovery is particularly unique because, in addition to putting down sugar, flour and alcohol, he also weaned himself off ADHD medications (no small feat) and walked away from his artisan sourdough bread baking career (equally hard).David is living proof of the healing and transformation that is possible when we choose to let go of addictive food behaviours and embrace new and better ways of living. He will be the first to say, it wasn't easy but it was definitely worth it. Today, David is a registered dietitian and a food addiction counsellor trained under Bitten Jonsson.Florence's courses & coaching programs can be found at:www.FlorenceChristophers.comConnect with Florence on:FACEBOOK | TWITTER | INSTAGRAM | YOUTUBE
