Today we are sharing four "Lessons from the Sessions." These are takeaways from recent sessions with our clients that we bet will resonate with you and we hope will help you.
We had a client recently turn her cell phone off in order to tighten up her budget--after one session. We have never had a client go that far so quickly and we certainly won't ask you to do that. We do, however, talk about the difference between wants and needs, why she chose to give it up and what some of the potential ramifications are in her life.
In another takeaway, we talk about a client who is trying to finish her degree. Her degree that may or may not have an impact on her career. And, by the way, she's currently in a career that she had no intention of being in when she started out. So, the main lesson here is to learn to step back and ask why are you doing what you’re doing. There may be outside or past influences in your life that you need to reassess. Listen to hear exactly how we helped her work through this.
One of our clients was recently trying to get in the routine of a morning routine. She came up against the obstacle of being tired. We coached her on exactly how to deal with it and achieve her goal!
On our last takeaway we talk about our coaching for a client who is trying to eat healthy in order to lose weight. She's been making it complicated and she's confused about her macros and portions. We told her exactly how to handle dinner in order to take away the stress and decision making anxiety while also being able to reach her goals!
