Description

The Bengals' receiving corps will have to face yet another challenging secondary under the bright lights of prime-time.
After playing away from home for over two weeks, the Bengals welcome the Buffalo Bills to Cincinnati for Monday Night Football this week. It's the first Monday night game in Cincinnati in over two seasons. There will be multiple challenges for the Bengals on both sides of the ball.
Ja'Marr Chase and the Bengals' receiving corps will have to go against a secondary led by Bills cornerback Tre'Davious White. White, who returned from an ACL injury last month, will look to contain Chase, Tee Higgins and Tyler Boyd as Buffalo boasts the seventh-best defense in the league, a
However, the secondary has struggled against most of the No. 1 receivers they've faced from their respective opponents this season. Safety Jordan Poyer is also questionable for Monday's game, which raises the question as to whether the Bills' secondary is more vulnerable than they might appear.
The Bengals' receivers will have to build off of some rare miscommunications they had against New England that contributed to two picks from QB Joe Burrow. Nonetheless, they've been part of the strong foundation of a Bengals team that's won nine of their last 10 games.
But who will back up Burrow behind right tackle in order for him to have that sustained succes? Will it be Hakeem Adeniji or Isaiah Prince? The Bengals might be more comfortable with Adeniji as a swing tackle while Prince played right tackle for most of last season's Super Bowl run.
Burrow also has a chance to make an even stronger showing for why he should be MVP. He and Bills QB Josh Allen are in the top three in the MVP rankings behind Patrick Mahomes, adding even more juice to an exciting matchup on Monday.
The Strictly Stripes Podcast tries to solve the mystery at right tackle all while weighing the Bengals' receivers against the Bills' secondary. They also lay out the roadwork for Burrow to potentially sneak his way into the top spot for the MVP rankings.
