Another week, another tough pass rush defense awaits the Bengals.
This weekend, the Bengals will face the New England Patriots and their two talented edge rushers: Matthew Judon and Josh Uche. Judon is playing at a Pro Bowl level as he has been for over the last three seasons. New England also boasts a top-10 ranked defenses which is due in part to that front.
They're led by one of the greatest head coaches and defensive minds in the game, Bill Belichick. And the Bengals will deal with a Patriots team fighting to keep their thin playoff hopes alive. The task for Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is making sure that he can continue beating most edge rushers as he's faced for the better part of the last six games.
Cornerback Devin McCourty is well out of his prime, but he's still been consistently effective for the Patriots. Receiver Ja'Marr Chase and the three-headed Bengals' receiving corps will have to find a way to continue building on the success they had in first full game back together since Tyler Boyd and Tee Higgins were hurt against the Browns.
That will also provide a chance for Burrow to elevate his chances of winning MVP as it's still a three-way race for the crown with three weeks left.
