Description
Willpower
It is such a thing with the will, it sometimes develops unbelievable forces. Although according to the great teacher we should not want anything, in daily life we more often fall back into our learned behaviors.
It makes an incredible difference whether we perform our daily tasks and accomplishments with friends or with reluctance. A circumstance that is important only to us, perhaps of little importance to our immediate surroundings, but the rest of the world has no interest in how we feel.
How do I want to approach things, my job, my duties, my life? Do I want to want, or do I not want to want?
Whoever "wants" will live a beautiful life, effortlessly walking the steps of the day. But if you don't "want" to, you will feel uncomfortable, trudge effortfully through time.
We distinguish things and people according to whether we "want" them or not. Depending on how our decision turns out, only what we want we will do "gladly", what we do not "want" we will try to avoid, to procrastinate, to sit out. According to Buddha, we should not want anything, because it is the wanting that creates our suffering. If you don't want anything, you don't want anything, you take what comes, you won't be disappointed if it doesn't come as you "wanted".
But who is also forced to do what he does not "want", for example because it "must be", he has arrived in his mental prison, in which he has put himself.
Suppose you would do the same action again, but this time "want" to do it, then everything would be the same, except you, the approach would be completely different, otherwise nothing would change at all. What was so difficult for you before, now would be easier "off your hand", that is the only difference.
No human being has to deal only with people and things that he/she likes, finds good and enjoys doing. Life is not a concert of wishes. Either you are fully behind your karma, you affirm your destiny, or life will be very hard for you (and become even harder). Whatever may come in life is not in our power, but what and how we deal with it is.
In your area it is not so nice? That depends, if they find it beautiful, then it is the most beautiful spot on earth. If you find your partner beautiful, then so is he/she. You can just choose how you want to deal with the situation, with the people, with your mind palace.
So if you are willing, then you will have a "beautiful" existence, if not, then not. It is your decision, depending on your willpower.
The way is the goal!
For will I call the working, because if the will is there, then one works, be it in works, words or thoughts
