Description

Distributed teams consist of team members who are all individually working from different locations. These locations can be their homes, coffee shops, or co-working spaces, but not shared office spaces. By definition, distributed teams do not have a shared office they can go to.These teams are known for being more agile, productive, and happy. They offer team members more flexibility to create a healthy work-life balance, remove the distractions that come with in-office collaboration, and are often cheaper to run. But they also come with their own challenges! And if there’s one thing we can say is that this new work style has a lot going for them!In this week’s episode of LeanCast, we received Tomomi Sasaki from AQ, to talk about the benefits of operating with distributed teams, its challenges, and how to guide your team away from issues.
