“You may want to re-evaluate how you are trained because a lot of our training has everything to do with what type of therapist we are now.” As a Clinical Supervisor, Doctor TK recognized that a lot of training sites for mental health professionals are giving the students the bare minimum. She began to set the bar high for supervision after being exposed from a rigorous to a horrendous training program provided during her practicum days.
