Description

The WoMed’s best kept secret is out—your girl is in, Paradise! The beach just got that much hotter as our sweet D made her appearance. We cannot WAIT to watch her “journey” unfold. We hope you loved our episode last week full of beauty faves! Your hosts had even more faves they wanted to share with you, so they needed a part 2. This episode covers even more ground, first with a pre-NP plan of care from Dr. Jaclyn Camardo for patient Danielle who has heartburn. The two then jump in to TV shows, and discuss the importance of balancing, say, The Handmaid’s Tale with Abbott Elementary. Danielle chats about Don’t Worry Darling and all the drama surrounding it, and, in light of D being on TV, they chat about self-care and prioritizing mental health. They then hop in to fall fashion, music, and staples in their purse. They also discover they have the same fave perfume brand, DedCool! They wrap up with D sharing her favorite thing she brought to the beach, and Jac’s fave thing, which is watching her bestie on TV. We hope you enjoyed these two special episodes, and see below for a full list of faves!

The WoMed is a space to discuss, debate, and celebrate all things Women in Medicine! Danielle Maltby is joined by co-host Jackie Camardo to bring new issues and faces to light in the medical community. These nursing vets bring humor, reality, and a serious passion for the world around them to discussions on self-care, emerging healthcare trends, education, activism, patient stories, and pop culture representation of the industry. The hosts welcome not just women in medicine, but members of the LGBTQ communities in medicine as well, to ensure more people have a platform to amplify their voices. They are also joined by some of the industry’s biggest experts and thought-leaders! Nothing is off-limits, so listeners should come prepared to laugh, (maybe cry), and tune in to meaningful conversations that could change the way you see healthcare.
