This weeks guest is Rose Fernando who joins us from London England. A whisky aficionado and a former Johhnie Walker Experience Ambassador, Rose has an extensive knowledge of all things whisky.
Rose's Bio in her own words:
My name is Rose Fernando and I am a massive Johnnie Walker fan, of the blend and of the history. I first was introduced to Johnnie Walker as a rebellious teen and hated it and wondered who would ever drink it (clearly it took a little while for my palate to refine).
At the age of 28 I received my first bottle of Blue Label and had a dram of it instantly. The richness of the whisky, all its subtleties and aromas, I was a changed woman. I started learning more and more about the whisky process and learning more and more about the blend and history of Johnnie Walker.
Fast forward 3.5 years and I now have more than 200 bottles in my private collection, more than 400 newspaper and magazine prints dating from 1909 and endless branded merchandise all related to Johnnie Walker.
I was able to be on the team when Johnnie Walker Princess Street opened their doors last year but due to health reasons, I wasn't able to stay for long and soon found myself back in London.
