Pre-Loved Podcast: Consignment Brooklyn  Today, I’m joined by Eva Dayton, founder and creative director of Consignment Brooklyn. Eva has a long history in the fashion industry, having worked for Ralph Lauren and Giorgio Armani, places where she honed her craft for visual merchandising. In 1999, Eva went off on her own and opened her first Brooklyn storefront, called Butter. Even in the early days of her business, Eva was drawn to the world luxury consignment, and creating an experience where people could shop curated secondhand merchandise.  In 2005, she opened Consignment Brooklyn which has remained a pillar of Brooklyn ever since. Today, Eva can still be found at Consignment Brooklyn most days, and she also offers personal styling and closet clean-out services. Most recently, she’s partnered with the Manhattan Vintage Show as one of Manhattan Vintage’s dedicated Fashion Stylists.  The Manhattan Vintage Show – New York City’s most prestigious vintage show – is coming up this week, Friday and Saturday October 14th and 15th at the Metropolitan Pavillion, so tune in to this episode to hear all about the special way Eva is working with this season’s show!  Tour Dates:  October 19th: LIVE Pre-Loved Podcast in New York at Awoke Vintage All the Episode Links: @consignmentbrooklyn Consignment Brooklyn @evadayton Manhattan Vintage show @thevintageshow Book a private stylist at Manhattan Vintage! Pre-Loved Podcast is a weekly interview show about rad vintage style with guests you’ll want to go thrifting with. Pre-Loved Podcast is hosted by Emily Stochl of the Brume & Daisy blog. I chat with guests about their love for vintage and second-hand clothing, how they source creative inspiration, and the stories behind their favorite pieces. We chat style, running a fashion business, sustainability, slow fashion and why we choose second-hand things first. To follow along with all things #PreLovedPod and otherwise, you can find me across the internet as @brumeanddaisy and at the Brume & Daisy blog.
