In this solo episode I discuss how at the end of 2018 I decided to challenge myself to six non-consecutive months of sobriety throughout 2019. Prior to this year I had only ever participated in a sober month 2x since turning the legal drinking age. This definitely pushed me outside my comfort zone, challenged me to find new ways of coping with difficult situations, forced me to really examine the relationship I had with alcohol in the past and made me realize how I want to shift this in the future.
This was one of the most challenging years of my life as I stepped into my first full year of entrepreneurship, left a relationship, moved back in with my parents and many other bumps along the way; but it was also one of the greatest. Being able to fully experience the highs and lows without alcohol for much of the year brought a lot of awareness and lessons, which is what I share with you in this episode.
