About our panel

Dr Belinda Clarke, Director, Agri-Tech East

Agri-Tech East is a membership organisation that is bringing together entrepreneurial farmers, early-stage and established technology companies and researchers in leading academic centres to create a global innovation hub in agri-tech. Collaborations and innovations emerging from the cluster are accelerating progress towards sustainable and productive and profitable food systems. Our REAP conference on November 6th (www.reapconference.co.uk) is a chance to network with the wider ecosystem about the necessary steps to achieve this.

Dr Katrina Hayter, Industrial Strategy Challenge Director, Innovate UK

Katrina Hayter has worked on the commercialisation of technology innovation both from a public and government perspective throughout her career. She is the challenge director for UK Research and Innovation’s Transforming Food Production, a £90 million programme supporting technology and data-driven transformation in agriculture. She has worked for organisations across the agri-tech sector, including FERA Science, DuPont Pioneer and World Economic Forum.

Iggy Bassi, Founder & CEO, Cervest

Iggy works at the intersection of technology, sustainability, food security, global security, and the collaborative economy in both emerged and emerging markets.

A passionate advocate for innovative ventures and ideas that address global sustainability and natural resource concerns. He is Founder & CEO of Cervest – an AI platform for predicting short and long range crop yields and natural resources. The platform is used by large enterprises, growers and policy makers to make resource-smart decisions.

JP Dorgan, Global Head of Client Services, Map of Ag

Over the last 20 years JP has been fortunate enough to have experienced a lot of fun working in both agriculture & food.
