The Cleveland Guardians continue their winning ways against the Kansas City Royals. Shane Bieber continues to dominate and the Guardians rack up double-digit hits for the second day in a row. We also talk about another high strikeout performance by rising prospect Tanner Bibee. Along with a multi-home run by Bo Naylor. We discuss the game and how the Guardians gained another half-game in the division due to the Minnesota Twins and the New York Yankees game being postponed. I also talk a bit more about my Freaky Friday/Vice Versa theory to Myles Straw and Amed Rosario’s production. 

I dig a bit more into the game giving my three stars. Shane Bieber is obvious but do we go with Andres Gimenez who reached base three times? Myles Straw, who has another multi-hit game? Oscar Gonzalez, who had the only extra-base hit? Austin Hedges, who had a single and the Guardians-only walk?

We focus on minor league numbers to talk about some players who have really had success and who have stood out for their struggles. For pitchers, we look at the top and bottom 10 pitchers in the organization by FIP. Then we dig into the top 10 and bottom ten hitters by wRC+. We can see who has broken out and who are the players who need to figure things out and a few who have already been let go due to their struggles.
