Later this week the Pac-12 will have its media day (July 29th), and there figure to be an over-abundance of questions to the coaches about conference realignment. With no breaking news on that front (for now), it's time to focus on a 2022 football season that is right around the corner. Which coaches are on the hot seat once the season starts in early September?

Herm Edwards' name is certainly at or near the top of the list when talking about coaches who may not be with their current school when the 2023 season kicks off. One coach who, obviously, is not on the hot seat is Washington's newly-hired Kalen DeBoer. Going into his first year in Seattle off of a 4-8 season, what should expectations be for the Huskies? A rapid turnaround where Washington is a contender this year seems unlikely.
