Description

All of us have new year resolutions, and, depending on the statistic we look at, we'll find that half of them or even more are abandoned and forgotten. The end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one are attached to emotional components that compel us to set goals and plan big changes. The best way to hold ourselves accountable for the goals we established is to review them periodically, check on our progress, how far we are from what we want to achieve, and adjust what needs to be changed. Today, we talk about quarterly reviews, their importance to keep us on track and help us reach our personal and professional goals. We look at what areas of our lives can be improved by reviewing them consistently, and we differentiate quarterly from weekly reviews. I also share bits of how quarterly reviews helped me improve my leadership skills, be more intentional in my marriage, with the family, and with the kids.  In This Episode, You Will Learn:The message the beginning of the last quarter of the year sends to us (2:48)The difference between weekly and quarterly reviews (5:21)How reviewing my progress helps me be more intentional in my marriage, with the kids, my health, and the family (9:01)The best place to do our quarterly review in peace (13:59)Resources:Quote: Michael Hyatt - "If you want to start doing a Quarterly Review, I strongly suggest that you schedule these far, far in advance. Mine are scheduled two years out. If you wait until you have a break in your schedule, you'll never get to it. You have to make appointments with yourself and schedule other things around it. This is the key to proactive, self-management."Let's Connect!WebsiteLinkedInInstagram FacebookEmail: clint@flavorofleadership.com Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
