The daily look back at BYU football history continued with the 1980 season in the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown, as Jake chronicled how the Cougars rebounded from a season-opening loss to New Mexico to reel off 12-straight wins and cap the season in the thrilling "Miracle Bowl" as they rallied to beat SMU 46-45

Finally, it's John Nelson Day on the podcast as we are now just 59 days away from the season-opener at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for the Cougars when they take on the University of Arizona. Jake shared his thoughts on the freshman defensive lineman and what he makes of Nelson's game
