Friday on the podcast picked up where Thursday left off on College Football Playoff expansion and the details from the official announcement. Jake Hatch shared his thoughts on how it would affect the BYU football program and expressed how he feels that the proposed changes appear to be a net positive for the sport

Attention then shifted to the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown as we looked back on the 1963 season and the end of Hal Mitchell's run as head coach of the Cougars. Jake shared some notes that he received about Mitchell from his granddaughter and son about his time at BYU in addition to what he did after his coaching years

Finally, the podcast wrapped up with the other BYU sports news out there, including All-Region honors going to men's golf standout Carson Lundell, track and field continuing to compete at the NCAA Championships and academic citations from the WCC handed out to the cross country program
