Friday's podcast began with Jake Hatch's thoughts, takeaways and observations from BYU Football Media Day on Thursday. He explained what happened during an otherwise nondescript event in Provo. He shared the newsworthy items after enjoying the annual event for the first time since 2019

Attention then shifted to the 100 Seasons of BYU Football Countdown with a look back at 1968 for the Cougars, a season played with alot of outside pressure on the team along with a lengthy losing streak that sank the Cougars to their worst record under Tommy Hudspeth's tenure as head coach

Finally, the podcast wrapped up with Gideon George trying out for the Nigerian National Team, WCC All-Academic honors for the baseball and softball programs, and U.S. Olympic Trials taking place with a number of BYU track and field athletes seeking their chance to go to the Summer Olympics in Tokyo
