Locked on BYU began with host Jake Hatch's thoughts on the BYU victory over Arizona after re-watching the game (3:07). He talked about the stellar line play, how the tight end group could develop into a weapon for the Cougars and some positive developments for Tanner Mangum's deep ball. Comments from Arizona head coach Kevin Sumlin the the defining third quarter and Thomas Shoaf's thoughts about what the win meant for the Cougars were also included.
In the second segment Hatch played some of the comments from BYU head coach Kalani Sitake in his weekly press conference on Monday and reacted to them (13:36). Comments discussed included if BYU has anything left to hide from Cal on Saturday, Squally Canada, BYU's young cornerbacks & Coach Sitake's mentality on re-asserting the Cougars' home field dominance.
Finally, Hatch wrapped up the show with his "Quick Hits" segment. He talked about two positive developments for BYU in the personnel department, the women's volleyball team's big weekend and the 10-0 rout the women's soccer team laid on Idaho State (26:16).
