Description

Hi everybody! This is just a quick message about something I’m really, really excited about…
I’ve put together a 55-minute online session on how to reach out to self-published authors and get book translation deals! I can see that the episodes I had about fiction and non-fiction books during Season 1 of our Translation Confessional podcast became very popular pretty fast, so I know for a fact that many of you out there are interested in the subject. I can’t blame you―the world of book translations is indeed fascinating!
With that in mind, I decided to record an online session PACKED with information about how you can work with self-published authors and small publishers to get fiction and non-fiction books translated into your language. You’ll also know how to put your portfolio together, create some translation samples, research public domain material you can translate without asking anyone’s permission, and how to put your name out there to position yourself in the new digital publishing era.
Well, if this sounds good to you, feel free to go to RafaLombardino.com/webinars and you’ll be able to purchase access to the on-demand video. There’s really A LOT of information there, so you can pause, rewind, take notes, and put together a plan of action to start getting book translation deals in the near future.

Let's explore that side of our freelancing careers we don’t talk about too often or very openly: the struggles, the time invested into learning and improving ourselves, the ups and downs, dealing with clients, meeting deadlines, and also the little joys that make up for everything.
