Description

On today’s episode, Jason kicks things off with a quick thought on Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith winning the Heisman Trophy. Kudos to Smith, but does anyone else feel like the whole thing snuck up on us a bit this year? With so many games getting postponed or cancelled throughout the season, it was really hard at times to keep up with who was doing what. It's no wonder then that 3 of the top 5 vote getters all played for Alabama. Sticking with college football, rumor has it that a COVID outbreak within the Ohio State program could delay the College Football Playoff Championship game next week. Or, if you believe Nick Saban's daughter, the whole thing is just a conspiracy to give Justin Fields more time to recover from his rib injury. Unfortunately, COVID has thrown a monkey wrench into the NFL's Playoff plans as well as several members of the Cleveland Browns - including their head coach and one of the best offensive linemen - have tested positive and will be forced to miss this weekend's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Tough break for Browns. The silver lining in all of this, however, is that both of these COVID outbreaks gives sports bettors a massive edge at the betting window. It's harsh but true. Finally, Jason closes the show with an in-depth preview of this weekend's NFL Wild Card Playoff game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Washington Football Team. Washington's Chase Young is talking a lot of trash, but can he and his teammates back it up and pull off the upset? Jason's answer may surprise you.
