Description

On today's episode, Jason gets the audience all lathered up for day 1 of the NCAA Tournament. First, he discusses a high-stakes March Madness Calcutta Pool he was earlier this week. For the uninitiated folks out there, a Calcutta offers a new way for people to bet on specific team to win the tournament. Participants bid on teams and earn prize money the deeper their team advances. Seems like harmless fun, right? Until you realize that the prohibitive tournament favorites - the Gonzaga Bulldogs - went for $59,000. DAMN. Long story short, Jason will be pulling hard for 3 long-shot teams this year in the tournament. Later, Jason does a deep dive into a handful of players who he believes could be big difference makers in the tournament, including: Gonzaga's Jalen Suggs, Purdue's Trevion Williams, USC's Evan Mobley, Oregon's Chris Duarte and Florida State's Scottie Barnes. Finally, Jason closes the show with his Best Bets for the opening weekend of the NCAA Tournament. If you thought he was good picking NFL games against the spread, just wait until you see what he can do during March Madness. Come get some of this free money!
