Description

The Seattle Seahawks finally had a convincing victory over a Sean McVay coached Los Angeles Rams team. Not only that, but they did it on the back of a defensive unit that had questions surrounding it early this season. Is it time to give Ken Norton some credit for the turnaround? The 20-9 win over the Rams earned Seattle their first NFC West title since 2016, but was it done in a way to improve Adam's mood from the previous week? After all, the structure of the game wasn't much different. We look at some of the third downs throughout the game and it was one area where Russell Wilson struggled early on in the game. Next up is a San Francisco 49ers franchise that Seattle has dominated throughout the Russell Wilson era. Kyle Shannahan has managed two wins against this Seahawks team (the same number that Jim Harbaugh had). Injuries continue to plague the 49ers, but George Kittle will be in the game and C.J. Beathard has done well to avoid throwing any interceptions. But Kittle will be his only big name target with both Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk out for this Sunday's game. Even with injuries, Seattle should expect a physical game, particularly from the 49ers defense. In the second half of the show, we talk about the departure of Damon 'Snacks' Harrison and the return of Luke Willson. We also discuss a number of playoff scenarios for Seattle and why there is the potential for a big difference between having the 2nd and 3rd seed in the playoffs.  D.K.O. earned the top spot in the pick'em league this week, and Jeremy comes in with the answer regarding career rushing leaders for the Seahawks. Adam calls out an anonymous Fansided article for daring to consider life for the Seahawks without Russell Wilson as Brandan brings evidence as to why Bobby Wagner should have earned a fumble recovery at the end of the Rams game. Better at life honors go to the Tennessee Titans social media team for their injury designation of one of their players and to the Seahawks franchise for earning an NFC West title in the face of different areas of adversity.
