Description

In this episode, we feature a conversation with three filmmakers, Isabella Rinaldi from Italy, Cristina Hanes from Romania, and Arya Rothe from India that make up the NoCut Film Collective, which they founded in 2016.  Their first feature length documentary, A Rifle and a Bag, premiered earlier this year at Rotterdam in the Bright Future section of the festival, and was awarded Special Mention from the jury.  It is also an official selection for the Swiss documentary film festival, Visions du Réel and is available free to stream on their website www.visionsdureel.chWe caught up with them via skype to discuss the film, collaborative co-directing, and working remotely on transnational productions.
