Description
Learning how to say no and what to say yes to is actually a skill. Because it can be so easy to say yes to everything, however when you do, you end up completely overcommitted and not able to do what you actually want to do.
I get asked a lot about how I set boundaries and how to set them so in this episode I discuss why they are important and how they can help you do more of what you enjoy.
Many struggle with this and me included, until I learnt strategies. One of the best things i learnt and I still use every time I am trying to figue out if something is a yes or no, is using Hell yes, or no.
You see it can be so easy to say yes to everything and you end up completely overcommitted and then when it comes round to an opportunity that you want to be able to say yes to, you can't because you are overcommitted and most probably exhausted.
Saying no, doesn't make you a bad person or cut you off from the world. In fact, learning to say no is the complete opposite of this. Setting healthy boundaries allows you to open yourself up to be your true self. The fullest version of yourself.
Tune in here or where ever your favourite source is at youtube, itunes, podbean, stitcher or spotify. My aim is to bring you an episode a week, so if you have any thing you would like me to discuss please do let me know.
I look forward to bringing you what I can and helping you improve your health and wellbeing as a rider, so you can enjoy it even more.
