Huge kicked off the show by discussing how the CDC and other medical professionals are now saying that it’s now safe for kids to be back in school. So, one point he wanted to get across is that if that’s what’s being said, then there’s no reason the MHSAA shouldn’t be able to complete their fall high school sports championships and begin winter sports. Throughout the entire show, we wanted to get your thoughts on this. In our first hour we were joined by Tim Staudt to get his take on what Huge brought up, and to also get his opinion on MSU basketball and football.
In our second hour we wanted to get an update on Juwan Howard and his Wolverines as College Basketball is officially off and running. We were joined by Chris Balas so he could fill us in on everything U-M basketball, and to also talk briefly about the future of Harbaugh, the likelihood of a match-up with OSU, and much more. We were then joined by Jim Comparoni to talk some more about Izzo and the MSU basketball team. He and Huge also touched briefly on Mel Tucker and his team taking on OSU this Saturday.
We were joined by Tim Twentyman at the top of our final hour to get his input on the current state of our Detroit Lions. Huge and Tim talked about who they’d like to see in a new head coach and GM. They also discussed whether they think Darrell Bevill can fill those shoes or not. We were also joined by Doug Skene to get his thoughts on the short and long term future of Jim Harbaugh as the U-M head football coach. Doug and Huge gave their opinions on what exactly they think is going wrong with the team this year. We wrapped up the show with our friend Tom Rosenbach from BeeneGarter so he could let Huge know how he did on last week’s picks and to also take his picks for this weekend’s games.
